linden17
funny videos. In all seriousness though, look for the fins to be Canada's toughest opponent in the next worlds or olympics. just look at the players they are producing. The world juniors is a sign of things to come.

I remember hearing them talk about it (Bob Mac if I'm not mistaken), and they were saying how the Fins swallowed some pride and asked the Swedish program for some advice. If I recall correctly they've made more of a focus on training individual skills at a younger age (10-15? I believe), instead of focusing on systems. Systems can be picked up anytime, but individual skills need to be honed earlier in players developments. Edit: Here's an article I found, pretty much what I remember being said by the talking heads ARTICLE LINK
HerrDrFunk
I think if someone screamed at me in Finnish, I would leave a little bit of terror pee behind.
elvis15
Yeah, that's been posted a few times here. It's a few years old but a pretty funny promo.

Yeah, it's got that same quality as German and Japanese in that the people speaking it sound very angry. Yesterday my bf's mom was trying to teach me how to say "I love you"- it sounded like she was swearing at me in disgust. I love you = Minä rakastan sinua, by the way.
