Sedintwinpowersactivate
$3.75 million? Isn't that what we are paying Sbisa? Good signing for the Pens.

Not when he's still got 3 years at 5 million +. it is still only 2 games in for him but IF Elliot doesn't improve. Calgary might be willing to ante up to pay the price. WhoseTruckWasIt
Anyone in the market for an older goalie with a bloated contract has a tonne of options, and a tonne of leverage.

WhoseTruckWasIt
Just now, Gooseberries said: Another goalie option for Toronto? If they are serious about winning, which I doubt, they should work on Bishop. Also, Howard would be good insurance and could come with a sweetener. Toronto is in a strong position with some excess prospects, so they should be able to deal. Fragile Fleury, however, definitely seems like the wrong guy for the market. 'NucK™
Or they're just doing exactly what we did this past summer with Markstrom? Of course the likelihood of a trade goes up if 2 G on the team are being paid ~10M, but just like with us, don't think it warrants reading into much more than that. I'm guessing the asks LA is hearing right now are ridiculous.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
With a strong team upfront, I wouldn't put it past either Winnipeg or Ottawa making a pitch for Marc Andre. The goalies they have now are meh.

One of those goalies will be traded (not necessarily right away) , it's a luongo/schnieder situation.

Works out much better for us with Miller going into FA. Do you think they are more likely to move Fleury or Murray though? Probably more demand for Fleury but are they ready to have Murray as their starter?

I think they would love to move MAF but the return is low and the deal would be hard to make with the NMC. They may have to cut losses and trade Murray for futures (sound familiar?)
