[Discussion] Jeff Zatkoff Suffers Lower Body Injury - TRADE MILLER NOW

Recommended Posts

Simply put. His value will NEVER be higher. Trade him now. Get that 1st round pick.

give them Miller, retain half salary, and take back Zatkoff, a 1st round, and a depth player to make the salary work

Call up Bachman to back up Markstrom until Zatkoff is healthy.

Isn't this like the 5th thread you've made saying the same thing?

2nd actually I've just pushed for it in other threads. but make it happen!! And Zatkoff needed help just to get off the ice today after pulling his groin. The landscape has totally changed and it's a new development.

Canucks can retain half salary and take back Tanner Pearson

Atleast put it in the right sub... There's a place far away called proposals and armchair GM, right now you are just asking for the negative reps.

You are right about one thing, his value will never be higher as it is in steady decline. Canucks will if lucky get a 3rd if they ever chose to trade Ryan Miller which management is adament they would rather not do.

Ask yourself, who will back up the Canucks if Miller is traded ? exactly...

Ask yourself, a team going 4-0 to start the season see's a division rival losing it's goaltending, do you take the opportunity to make more space between yourself and the Kings to be able to get a better chance at a Playoff position. Lets not kid ourselves, the Kings will be knocking on the door come Playoff time regardless.

Or do you try and grab a top 90 ? pick in a draft coming up by helping a division rival obtain goaltending and risk weakening your position over the Kings in the standings ?

Canucks are not trading Miller to LA

Honestly at this point is Reputation suppose to count for anything on these forums??? Maybe I sound like a real ass saying this, but if it is then maybe people should take a look at my reputation and give me more credit. How do you think I got a reoutation higher then yours with like 1/5 of the amount of posts that you have??? Usually it's because I have something really good or smart to contribute that people agree with. I make an extremely comfortable living for myself as an investor and day trade. I make a living off of buying low and selling high.  Can you tell me any other point in time where we can get a better return for Miller???

Exactly. Benning and Linden's goal is the playoffs and helping a divisional rival is incredibly counter productive to that.

lol any idiot could have started this thread or come up with the same idea. It's that obvious. But if you're so worried about reputation points cause they "mean something" then shouldn't my reputation stand for itself and say I'm no idiot

Agree 100%, this is exactly what JB should be talking to LA about. It's how you rebuild a team efficiently.

Any idiot can get people to agree with them on here (look at my reputation count, for example).

Just because you have a high rep though, doesn't mean every thought you have related to hockey is gold. Trading Miller to the Kings makes no sense for us or them, really.

Your market valuation is way off.

There are other, cheaper options available (even frickin' Pavelec) that would not require trading with a Division rival.

You really think the Canucks would pay Ryan Miller to help the Kings win games?  lol
