LatteSipper
I can't imagine paying money to go sit in that library of an arena. Francesco has made a serious, serious mistake in trying to scrape in for a few playoff gate revenues. Ironically if they had torn it down and started a Maple Leaf rebuild they aren't signing a guy to 6/36 or trading for Gudbranson. There's your playoff revenue Francesco. In saying this I have no idea if this fanbase would actually support a teardown. Talk is cheap. There's already tonnes of empty seats every game in the lower bowl. I went to games last year and the upper bowl was even worse. So what did/do the Canucks have to lose?Tear it down. Drop prices. Take your medicine for a few years. Oilers and Leafs are a hell of alot more entertaining, win totals aside.....

EmilyM
What do you mean by tear it down? The Sedins weren't going anywhere. Players like Higgins and Burrows had no takers. So what is your idea of a tear down? Gudbranson is only 24. And management felt like McCann wasn't a part of the team's future. By the time players like Boeser and Demko are hitting their stride, Gudbranson is going to be in his prime. I don't really see the complaint there. We finished 28th last year. That's pretty much a "torn down" team. Lottery goes to show there are no guarantees though. So you do the best with what you have. I'm sick of hearing people say things like "we should tear it down" or "we should go for prospects and picks". Give some names. Propose something. It's easy to say we should have good young players. Of course we should. Anyone should. But say how you expect that to happen.

DeNiro
The real rebuild will start when the Sedins retire. I think that was always pretty obvious.

10pavelbure96
You can still be entertaining and lose. We can't even score. There's no game breakers to put you on the edge of your seat on this team. We just have to be patient and hope for another lottery pick and wait for Rodin and Boeser and hope they exceed expectations.

elvis15
Cool, feel free to not buy tickets, spend money on merch or even watch on TV. Also feel free to find a new team to cheer for if all you have left is to complain. Enough with the rants, people. If you don't have a reasonable solution, there's next to no reason to bother with your own individual thread for every thought you might have.
