Prepare to be shocked to your very core...

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I just went onto NHL.com and sorted the standings by "goals scored". Now, to no one's surprise, Vancouver is dead last (30th place) with only 17 goals scored this year.

BUT THAT'S NOT THE SHOCKING PART....

Are you ready? If so, click the spoiler tag, but be warned, it is quite shocking. People with heart problems should not click it. Pregnant women? Don't even think about it. Only click the "Reveal hidden contents" button below if you absolutely 100% prepared to fully enter the bizarro world of the NHL, where all common sense and logic has gone out the window and we are left drifting in a parallel universe where up is down and down is up and left is right. Ok, I warned you...

The Minnesota "Freaking" Wild are #1 in overall scoring, with 32 goals scored. WTF!!!!!

They are playing like men possessed. When the older Granny scored his first yesterday he was the 18th (!) player to register a goal on that team, something like that. Think they had 20+ players with at least a point. Wild indeed. I'm hoping the they can keep the momentum going. I also hope the Canucks overtake them eventually though

Minny has a good team. They've been waiting to break out for cpl years now. Suter is on fire the year on the back end. Great Dman

Nash/Poile played that poorly(FAgency)..should've dealt him, his last contract yr. That return, PLUS keeping Weber, & they prob have a Cup by now.

Totally agreed. They claimed they were shocked and disappointed that they weren't "in it" to sign Suter when Minny signed him to the 112 mill deal. Apparently Suter had told them I want to explore but I want to come back, pretty much match the offer i receive and ill sign back.

I was shocked that they fell for that ruse. Could have gotten a huge haul back for Suter at the trade deadline.

Who knows maybe they kinda thought the same thing but wanted to make a run or win a cpl rounds for extra playoff revenue and thought they couldn't do it without Suter.

It was a fail at the end of day.

It's not that surprising. Minnesota today is much different than the team that got the reputation of being boring.

Agreed. Even before Boudreau got there, past couple of seasons, the Wild have been playing exciting hockey. I love watching a Wild/Stars matchup. Always exciting to watch.
