How much longer is Linden going to last ?

The current state of the Canucks has to bring in to question Lindens status . He is after all kind of the architect of where the team is at. I don't think things have ever been this bad for Canuck fans. Now we have the Oilers, Jets, and Leafs with plenty of promise but our once entertaining Canucks are really doomed. There is no star on this team any more and plenty of mediocre players. Its Lindens baby no matter how you look at it.

I'm guessing you haven't been a fan for long. It's either that or you are trying too hard to troll.

This is Francesco Aquilini's baby. Don't think any management team has done anything that he has not first approved (since he has owned the team)

EDIT: I realize FA has not been the owner for the entire history of the Canucks.

Step 1. Go to HockeyDB.

Step 2. Look at Canucks drafting during it's history.

Step 3. Look at our prospect pool now. Including 4th and 5th rounders that have possibilities of being legit NHL'ers.

Step 4. Look how long it's taken the Oilers being in the basement to finally get good. (What 10 years?)

Step 5. We are in year 3. The defence has been re-vamped. Benning will address the offence soon enough.

Step 6. How many minuses are you going to get? Troll.

Linden is there for marketing purposes. Benning is designing the team with (probable) instructions from Aquaman to make the playoffs/money.

This team is where it's supposed to be in its rebuilding stage. There's nothing wrong with the current state of the Canucks, it will eventually get better. Trevor and Benning will be fine, they didn't create this situation after all, but they are (slowly) making improvements.

FFS....:picard:

What are fans supposed to think when we are on a 5 game losing streak and are about to ice that exact same lineup against the top team in the league..... not much to be excited about IMO

It is what it is - McCann.

No amount of whining and ranting is going to change anything. Might as well save your breaths and start Christmas shopping.

They're being built for the future- Edmonton is awesome currently but they'll run into cap trouble within 2-3 years.

What the canucks are trying to build is sustainable, and truth be told, I'm starting to feel like the Sedins are holding us back from advancing a bit, I love them as players and in their prime they played my favourite style of hockey ever... but counting on them to carry the team is pretty much a broken record at this point.
