Bovechkin
So....Tryamkin was finally set free and played his first game as a Canuck this season. I'm really curious to hear what you guys thought about his debut, strengths and weaknesses, and what you think his ceiling can be? Pros: hit everything that moved and cleared the crease multiple times. It was clear that the Sens wanted NOTHING to do with him in front of the net and on tthe forecheck. Great reach and movement in the D-zone; extremely effective at taking away space. And finally his fight made me scared for that Sens' life.....Try is one scary guy. Cons: need to be careful with some of the hits, his penalty for kneeing in the first period was a pretty dangerous play and could have easily blown that Sens' knee out...don't want Try to develop that sort of reputation. Overall, awesome season debut! Just what the doctor ordered for the Canucks!

combover
I though he played well, there was rust but having a coach make you sit and watch for a month Doesn't help. He protected the goaltender something I haven't seen happen in Vancouver since forever. Hope he doesn't have to sit for another month.

GB5
14:17 ice time is all right, I didn't notice him a lot which is probably good, at least he wasn't making mistakes.
hammertime
Tram played great did everything we want and the team played 2 inches taller with him out there. he had a couple bad givaways thay led to us being hemed in our own zoNE looked lost at times but overall the plusses far out weight the cons. still looks out of shape buckled over sucking wind at times but you can see what he brings and he will be a devastating nhler when if he puts in the work. RRypien37
Have to admit it was pretty hilarious watching him plow through players or being bounced off of like it was nothing. If he is still the listed weight he is at (265) that makes him the heaviest guy in the league atm. Side note: As someone above already mentioned, he was sucking wind BIG TIME after every shift. Still probably quite out of shape. Granted, it's a lot tougher at his weight.
SaintPatrick33
You know what would be really cool? If we used him as a net presence on the PP. At the very least he can take up room and screen the goalie because that 1st unit in front of the net is quite horrible. I do believe Boston has done this with Chara multiple times What we got to lose? Lets great creative!
*Buzzsaw*
Negatives: He made some mistakes, took some unnecessary penalties and ran around a bit in the third Positives: Hit everything that moved... HARD... and the Sens wanted no part of him after he swatted away Zack Smith's ineffectual attempt to get tough. He should be played a LOT more... this team needs toughness, and he can definitely stop the intimidation of the Canucks which has been happening. His club in the KHL used him there all the time... you would think even WD would use the advantage of YouTube to scout players whether they are friend or foe. Gaudette Celly
Looked fine to me. Minimal errors, nice outlet passes, good mobility, great stick, constantly taking the body. Bigger and better than everything that Sbisa brings, or will be soon. He just needs to get playtime, to develop and get fully into game-shape. SuperReverb2
Liked what I saw. Missed what he brought tonight in all the previous games this year. Hope to see more of the same in the upcoming games or for the rest of the year. Think he should be a regular. Needs to be careful with the borderline stuff as his size/strength can make it serious quite easily. Hope he plays on the edge, just needs some common sense sprinkled in.
