He is exempt - just like Hutton. This is only his 2nd pro-year under an NHL contract.

He hits harder than Gud. His slapshot took out one of their guys. He is money on the pk as per usual with that wings span. When he pushed Turris out of the crease was pure gold. Our D has been soft as a babys behind I'm glad Try showed up and gave us a edge we've been needing. Guddy's a big boy right, Tryamkin is 50 lbs heavier. Damn right he packs a punch. WeneedLumme
He often looked kind of lonely standing alone in front of our crease with no opposition players willing to keep him company. Poor little guy.

With everyone healthy (and Larsen or Biega are waived) I'd like to see: Edler Stecher Hutton Gudbranson Tryamkin Tanev I really like this pairing set. If we have a hope of making the playoffs this is our best chance on D. If you can give up on the idea of the Edler-Tanev pairing being untouchable then this can happen. nuck-lifer
Tryamkin helps the team just by his presence. Guys like Dorsett , Guddy and Luca are really the only ones that play any kind of physical game so having Tram back there gives the other 3 , (especially Sbisa in my mind) a little more freedom to play their style of game. It also gives our softer forwards the feeling he has their back if he's on the ice. Net presence on the PP would be a great experiment as well. His hit was a borderline, but he went for it for his first fight. I like that he didn't just hold on to Smith (with 1 arm lol), but rather started swinging. Larsen is basically Weber 2.0. Stecher plays his same game but better, but more importantly, PUT TRAM ON THE TRACK!!!!!!! Please!!

This is the best we have in our system right now, and why we have Larsen and Sbisa in our starting 6 boggles my mind.
Gnarcore
It was Sbisa's fault Tram had to hit that guy or else. He gave it up right up the middle with Tram moving up ice towards the blue line and a far better pass option. Sbisa is &^@#ing terrible and needs to go. At the very least he can take up room and screen the goalie because that 1st unit in front of the net is quite horrible. I do believe Boston has done this with Chara multiple times What we got to lose? Lets great creative! That would be great! If we could actually get the puck through the lane instead of getting blocked all the time.

Minimal errors, nice outlet passes, good mobility, great stick, constantly taking the body. Bigger and better than everything that Sbisa brings, or will be soon. He just needs to get playtime, to develop and get fully into game-shape. Bingo. Get him some more games Willie!

Provost
He looked pretty solid for someone who hasn't played a regular season game, it is tough to catch up in this league when you start behind. Edler is out with an upper body injury, so we will see more of Tryamkin. ...or Edler has finally agreed to waive his NTC and is about to be moved out for scoring help. Detroit? Winnipeg? We do have some depth on D, and while it isn't ideal to lose one or both of your top pairing, it is a smaller hole than what we have up front. Dr. Crossbar
I'd give him a 6 out of 10 last night. He was at his best in front of the net giving us that necessary push back we lack. Found that he was great down low in the defensive zone but needs to be more confident on the offensive point. He looked lost on the point a couple times. Noticed he was a bit too quick with rush passes that led to a big turnover. Really can't wait to see him reach his full potential.
