They lack the leadership, vision and willingness to let young players learn and make mistakes. They have played favorites with existing older players and tried to recycle players no one else wanted. If I am a younger player this is one of the last places I would want to be. At least until the Sedins and Burrows are gone. By the way I am and always have been a Sedin and Burrows fan, just not the current slow, older, expensive and unproductive versions. Sad to watch actually. PS: I wonder if the Sedins will retire after his year if they can't produce anymore: In 11 games: Daniel has 4 pts and is a -5 / Henrik has 5 pts and is a -6 / Eriksson has 4 pts and is -4 and in 7 games Burrows has 0 pts. I know he does, it just would be better if he gave the green light to Benning and co to do a full rebuild without the expectation of making the playoffs. And Kopitar, Henrique, Bergeron, R. Johansen, Neal, Palat, RNH, Ladd, Krejci, Landeskog, Stone, Fabbri, Soderberg, Monahan, Duclair, Brassaed, Reinhart, Ryan, Barkov, etc., etc... They all have 5 points or less too..... 11 games in... Have U watched a season of NHL before? Nobody stays hot for 82 games including Mathews, McDavid, Getzlaf, Kopitar, Benn, Seguin, etc., etc...
