I think we all know that change is coming - heck it's about two years too late in a lot of people's minds.

Players move on and coaches, GMs and Presidents are hired to be fired.

Things are going to change in Vancouver at some point, but my question to fans is who they truly think will be the last Canuck off the sinking ship?

Linden will be around for a long time, he's just the face of our management so if things go downhill he'll just replace JB with someone else that'll make all team decisions

This may be true. I'm not even sure what Smyl does and he's been with the Canucks for eternity.

Amazing how quickly times change seems like yesterday Benning arrived here to great fanfare with Boston's blueprints in hand to turn the club into a powerhouse.  And Linden well some claim to have seen him walking across the harbour upon his return.  Now lines are forming to drive them to the airport it seems.  However I do agree both have done little to correct some problems with the team in the short time here.   That being said bet the mortgage Willie will be the first to go.

The sad part about that.  is that the canucks were the better team.  the injuries are what killed us. its funny we want to copy their model where if we had been healthy teams would of idealized our style.  gillis was a fool for trying to change the identity of the team.  If he had added a proven speedy top 6 player instead of trying to get big we would of likely went deep again in the playoffs.  Kesler needed that 2nd line winger.  and I dislike Kesler.

Willie will be the first. No contest. Owners will want to see if its benning s roster or willie s coaching. The easier path is the coach first. Then it will be benning if things continue this way. Linden is a glorafied pr guy. We may go as the same time as benning , but likely he would stay

toss up between Linden and the Sedins.

Linden reminds me of Stan Smyl who will always be with the Canucks organization.  During the good times but during the bad times under Keenan in the late 90s, Smyl never left but was always assigned to a  position within the Canucks organization.  Smyl coached the Canucks Minor league team but when he was relieved of his duties there, he came back to the Canucks organization.  The same will be said of Trevor Linden.

Willie will be the first to go.  What this organization needs is new ownership.  Until the slum landlord owners (Aquillini's) decide rebuilding the team is more important than getting into 1 round of the playoffs we are doomed as franchise.  All of Benning's moves and responses scream of ownership pulling the strings.  Not that they aren't spending money but spending money is not the issue at the moment.

We need to go back to an up tempo game that is at the very least entertaining and let the youth movement happen.  Our most offense young guy (Horvat) is constaltly put into shut down roles. Hello Sutter is here for that role.  Trying to tie the game that's roll out Dorsett and Burrows? Like WTF is Willie thinking?  He constantly is miscasting players and relying on the ones who won't get the job done!

I'm a die hard fan and will support my team but going through another era like in the late 90's is going to be a hard pill to swallow for any fan!
