dislocated elbow

Depends on the severity, some people never regain full mobility (ability to fully straighten the arm) as a result of soft tissue damage. Having said that a friend of mine dislocated his elbow and he was in a sling for 3 weeks before started physio. Now his elbow is back to near %100. I hope you have the same experience.

Don't freak out before getting a diagnosis. Come to think of it, don't freak out after either.

Broken a few bones in my life but never dislocated elbow. Shouldn't be longer than a month if nothing broken. It will dislocate a lot easier from now on. It's never the same, Shoulder is like that so I'm thinking elbow pbbly the same.

Ask the doc. I'm just talking from experience.

My shoulder has never been the same. Has never dislocated again but my range of motion of my arm on the right side is doodoo.

Think about taking a shot of deca once in awhile, helps a lot. I'll do it once a month and do lots of stretches and warm up properly before working out and it helps a lot. If i don't do it for a couple of months i can't sleep on my right shoulder which is my fav. position to sleep. sucks.

Your doc would pbbly prescribe it if you tell him about joint pain you are having. There was a point I couldn't flip a newspaper page with my hand because of the sharp pain I'd get. Slowly over time it improved. Lots of stretching and rotator cuff strengthening exercises with very light weight.
