Rush17
Who's in? Yak is on his way out in STL. (outside looking in at least outside their top 12). Would you do that? or would you prefer to deal a pick? I think we might be able to even get a late pick out of STL for him. Subban too the right team might be worth a 2nd round pick! Yak we can probably get for a 3rd!
Junkyard Dog
Why would STL give up on him this early?
Makaramel MacKhiato
I wouldn't mind Yakupov in the slightest. I think he's still got what it takes, but Edmonton destroyed him. Subban would be good, but the cap doesn't even out. I'd do Sbisa for Yakupov. Even cap, Tryamkin takes Sbisa's spot permanently

SaintPatrick33
Subban right now has no value, also why would the Blues trade a guy they just gave up assets for? Does not matter if he is scratched, if they gave up assets and even scratch Yak they are still planning long term with the kid. We sure could use a player with speed and a great shot, but besides Bo, who do you see him playing with? A plodding C like Henrik? Maybe a scrub like Granlund or Gaunce? This organization is one of the worst at developing offensive talents, might as well send him back to EDM, because at least with McDavid he was able to keep up the speed and forecheck. terrible.dee
Where do you get the idea he was available? Is he a healthy scratch tonight? St.Louis said they were going to be Uber patient with Yak

higgyfan
A small winger that is struggling to score goals. Sounds ideal for the Canucks.
smokes
I would totally go for it, for some reason, I seem to think Eriksson-Bo-Yak would be a pretty good second line.
Dickie
The Canucks would then most likely need to protect him in the expansion draft. I'd like this trade if it happened maybe next season, or at least after the expansion draft.

Not sure if Yak would be the one taken from our team if we had him.. and even if he was, it would mean we didn't lose Hansen, Granlund or Gaunce so I personally wouldn't mind

Subban definetly does have value, he has consistently put up points at every level he's played. I would have to disagree with your premature assessment of Gaunce, I feel like Gaunce is playing great on the 4th line. His strength on the puck, positional play, and general poise have all stood out soo far. He seems like the type of player that can't help but make his line mates better because he plays a smart game. Granny I'm not sold on yet. He had a great preseason but has somewhat fizzled away in the regular season and I haven't seen the urgency to his game that he needs to be successful. He's got the potential, lets hope he heats up again.
oldnews
2 whole goals. I'm guessing Edmonton isn't quite second-guessing that move yet. No way I'd move Subban for him. Yakupov's value imo is slipping / in the range of the 3rd ST L gave up. I wouldn't move Subban for that pick.
