Vancouver FTW :D
Hey guys, bored on a Sunday and was just thinking of some forward line-up changes to help produce some more offence. So I want WD to try Horvat at 1st line center if only for 1 game, just so Bo can get a feel for Where he needs to be eventually to take over that spot, and also to reward him for his play. A bit of a waste of a good face-off man in Hanky but its 1 game and it's obviously time to try new things. The rest of the line-up is just our shallow depth trickling down, but it also forces everyone on the team NOT named Sedin or Horvat to pick up there act and provide some secondary scoring along with an opportunity for the coach to reward anyone in the bottom 9 or 6 with a 1 game promotion. Oh and I wouldn't mind seeing Grenier get another look, He has been playing his heart out down in Utica for a long time and I feel that Developed Depth should get the look over newley acquired depth (Chaput) as to send the right message to the young guys. For instance it drove me crazy when Benning traded for Granlund and Granny automatically got the offensive minutes that Horvat had been working hard for all season long. Bad Coaching there. but I digress, Canucks nation I wanna see your line-up shake-ups as well and what You may think will spark some offence. Cheers! D Sedin Horvat H Sedin Baertschi Sutter Ericson Burrows Gaunce/Granlund Virtanen Dorsette Gaunce/Granlund Grenier |+| Hansen |+| Rodin
canuck73_3
I'd like to see the Sedins with Bo or split the Sedins for a few games.

SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Wouldn't be opposed to swapping Grenier in for Chaput. Not so much because one deserves it more than the other. But more because Utica has struggled without Chaput and could use help down the middle. So if we're stealing away the Comets' 1C just for our winger depth during an injury spell, we could easily swap in a natural winger like Grenier and let the Comets have Chaput back. That all said, I think Chaput has performed well and probably "deserves" to stay up due to his play, at least while there are injuries.

VIC_CITY
I'm open to trying out the Sedins on different lines. I would have been against the thought before but their speed is definitely an issue now. They also look like they're getting out muscled. Give them a different look and see how that works. There's nothing to lose. We won't see that though. Eriksson will be playing with them. Guaranteed.

That's what I don't get about WD, there is no chemistry with these line but he continues to use them. Time for change.

Another poster (and several in the media) blamed WD for not sticking with that trio earlier in the season. Willie just can't win. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. cripplereh
me I think it should be Sedin's Eriksson Baer Horvat Virtanen Granlund Sutter Hansen when back Burrows Gaunce Dorsett WD has to see these lines balance out the offense more then he has been doing only other thing I would say is since Burrows has been playing better put him with the twins

I don't think he has tried splitting up the Twins yet and he has not really played Sutter with the Twins either other then the PP. Just not seeing the Twins and Eriksson with any kind of chemistry. Makaramel MacKhiato
It would be interesting to get Bo on the Powerplay with the Sedins. Worked for Kesler. Then if Hank gets kicked out've the faceoff circle, we got a strong option #2. Sutter and Granlund on the 2nd powerplay allows us to do the same thing. D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Horvat Edler - Stecher Granlund - Sutter - Eriksson Hutton - Tryamkin
