How many strikes back would you like to go? They just got a new deal 2 years ago. Calling a deal the teachers agreed to "stealing" is dipper spin and nothing else.

I send my kid to public school thanks. And many of her teachers weren't exactly ass-busters. And who cares where she sends her kid? She pays for it so its no ones business. The NDP would be an economic disaster for BC, what do you think happens to your education funding then?

Buh buh Buh I didn't start insulting anyone.  Just their point of view and then started childishly insulting their political views and choice of party.  But never once did I actually say WHY the NDP would be bad for BC, I just keep claiming they will while demanding others tell me why they won't because I have no idea if they really would be or not.

3 hours ago, S'all Good Man said:

OK hip, now that we've run the inevitable course of education and health battles, maybe now you'll explain how the dippers intend to pay for all the funding increases you are demanding?

Oh wait you ASKED for where funding would come from?  Did I answer?

No.

Although much money could come from their wasted dollars in icbc management.  Ferry management.  Trans link.   If they hadn't spent a billion on a convention center.  560 million on a new roof for bc place.  Stayed strong on their LNG tax demands.  Not spent over 100 million on their "prosperity fund"

Or the millions spent fighting vital services in courts over the years.

Not to mention the wasted time and endless cost overruns on seismic upgrades which are nowhere near complete a decade later.

Maybe they could have not sold of vital crown corps to balance the books in lean years.   Or used icbc as a piggy bank.  Oh or maybe use those increasing health care premiums for health care instead of general revenue

The money is there.  Those idiots you keep defending just have no idea how to spend it.  Common sense things anyone with common sense would see.

But then...you don't see them

Oh no...look I answered

Yes, lets not invest in things that make money or help people get to work! Time to stop dip, you're too deep in.

Oh, looks like you just completely dismissed it by claiming people would be out of work if the government didn't waste money on worthless projects that actually helped nobody BUT middle management and bureaucrats.  Because it's the governments job to make sure people are employed not private enterprise.  VERY socialist of you

I never said they didn't do anything wrong. You and King are the ones throwing around personal accusations. I'm saying it wasn't "criminal". Not everything deemed unconstitutional is a criminal act... oh god, do we have to have that argument now too?

Just curious - did you have a kid in school between 2002 and today?

Wait, did you ask me another question?  Did I answer?

3 hours ago, Warhippy said:

Lmao

Yes 2

In schools that were slated fir closure before the government MAGICALLY found the money pre election after polls showed dan Ashton was in danger to keep them open.

Schools which have overcrowded classes.  No special needs teacher and shared gym times.

Schools in which my oldest daughter's teacher paid for gas money on a bus to take them to watch the salmon spawn after those cutbacks.

Better find a different tactic or route to prove that superiority

OH man I did...and did you respond at all?  No, no you didn't you just insulted ignored and deflected.

You got nothing.  Poor il fella.  Like every other Liberal out there, blame someone else for it.  Quick, blame Golden boy in Ottawa's failures on Harper now too!

Fun fact.  When the business friendly Liberals and their savvy smarts took power in 2001 BC's debt was 34.1 billion.  Since then it has ballooned to $66.7 billion.  Adding $2+ billion per year since they came in to power and 0 debt relief in site.

Sold off vital infrastructure to "balance budgets" nothing left and massive cost overruns by poorly managed remaining crown corps that are continually raided to top up general revenues.

Yikes.

1  Who is this "we" you are talking about? I'm hoping you are not one of the several hundered folk being paid for, by the public to spout, Liberal ideology on message boards? Asian trade existed before this Liberal party existed, so it is not a new thing.

2  The provincial liberals are messing up in that field, good that you can see that.

3- Perhaps next time which ever government gets in power will negotiate a deal more to your liking-without breaking binding agreements; and costing taxpayers hundereds of millions of dollars.

4- Ten posts into this thread, with your second post you mention 'dipper" spin and have been using the word, directed at posters in many posts since then, so imo you did start it. And even if somebody else had started it, you didn't have to continue so either way it reflects on you.

"we" is the province of BC. Listen you don't have to take my word for it, if you know anyone involved in exporting in BC they can tell you 1st hand, nothing 'just happens'.

So, the NDP can call Liberal supporters criminals but 'dipper' is crossing the line? Noted.

What a joke.. Yup i really want all the  special needs kids bused in to their own school.....   That would be a disaster...  Going back to 1950 is not the answer......

Sounds like you should move yourself back to Saskatchewan and recreate 1950  Canada where Special Needs kids were hidden away .....

Didn't say I wanted that, I said thats what might happen. Dude, lets just agree to disagree.

Oh no cupcake

I never once wished you dead.  I wished you a whole host of unfortunate and ironic grief from situations caused by liberal mismanagement

I guess that having gone through the bc Liberals education system though I can see how you'd be unable to read or dissemble that information

Great that you ignored all that info on the provinces financial situation under the liberals though.  Those darned facts.

Quick blame that on the NDP or deflect it by asking what the NDP plan is

Going back to the 1950's segregation  / Shame  / isolation   of special needs kids may be something you approve of.... Wow, you really are a BC Liberal aren't you.....

But the rest of BC is looking to progressive Northern countries that use integration with support to achieve success for all students including those with special needs.....

Yes support costs money.  Aren't the children in BC worth as much as kids in other provinces... ?  Apparently not as BC spends less than 1000.00 per year than most other provinces...   Thats about a million dollars for a highschool........ or a  half  million for a elementary school....

Christy Clark steals from our public school  kids each and every year  - then she turns around and gives this money to ELITE Private schools....  Yup we are paying for Aquilinis kids to go to school.    Isn't that awesome...

Typical BC Liberal bull$&!#  that abuses our public education students  as BC LIberals send their kids to Elite Private schools that we all pay for.   These private schools have entrance exams and interviews and do not accept special needs kids...

Typical BC Liberal bull$&!# to make the rest of the poor and middle class pay for the Elite  education of the UBER rich  - while our special needs kids get less and less services..

Good thing Canada Supreme Court has moral /ethics and   just gave crooked Christy and the BC Liberal Party a   SPANKING .....

Also the BC governments refusal to support a  Transition House for abused women with their kids proposed for the city of Delta.

The proposed house has CDN gov financial support in place but   Christys  Henchman Coleman will not support...

Just Despicable Behaviour again from BC Liberals that they do not support ABUSED women with kids in the city of DELTA.

BC Gov with a surplus but they still do not want to support the most needy in our society...  Just despicable human beings.....

A lot of us actually saw that post before it was deleted by a mod. We would disagree with your statement. The inference appeared clear.

Can't wait til THIS election is over and done with as well. This seems to be the US election thread V 2.0 given the nasty rhetoric, patronizing, condescending tone and mocking contained within. God forbid anyone disagree with the opinion of some of the others...... for a preview of what is to come, take a stroll on over to the US Election thread.

GO, STEVIE!!

Assets. Liabilities. I'd explain further, but you claim to be a businessperson that supported the NDP so there's really no point, is there?

You're clearly passionate about some issues and I can respect that. Lets just agree that you think the Liberals are crooks and I think the NDP couldn't find a good business deal with both hands if it bit them on the arse.

Now on to more important thing... like when Willie will be fired.... :P

The BC Liberals are like Hilary's Democrats.

ELITE -  establishment. Stealing from the taxpayers for way to long.

Time to vote for a change. Vote BC Conservative, Green or NDP  . Vote for Change. Make BC GREAT Again.
