Does Bo Horvat need a mentor and if so who do you go and get?

Other than bringing over Patrice Bergeron to guide along his protege I'd say Bo is doing well on his own accord, supported by the likes of Hank and Dank and Burr and Manny and Hansen and Sutter.

Erikson can also help model that two-way game we're going to come to love from Bo for at least 6 more years at 4.25 million.

Bo is this generation's Trevor... just a guy you want to duplicate and have more of.

The Canucks have great people in the locker room mentoring and stewarding Bo and other young futures, what are you talking about?

Alex Burrows leading by example as having worked his way up from the ECHL to a SCF, the Sedins as a high draft Hart Trophy nominees/winner, SCF, WC etc, Jannik Hansen, Derek Dorset, Brandon Sutter and Ryan Miller are total pros on and off the ice.

BO and the youngsters are in good hands in my opinion.

Horvat is - and will be - just fine.   He has enough role models,  and his own leadership is one of his created strengths.

Watch him as he huddles and directs the players during play stoppages.   He's just fine.  Dont forget he's young,  and is going to get even better in all respects.
