Blömqvist
To Dallas Ryan Miller Jordan Subban To Vancouver "Everyone's favourite auntie" Antti Niemi Julius Honka Dallas improves their goaltending for this year and takes off $4.5M in cap for next year. They lose a recent first round pick in Honka but get Subban, a similar defenseman, in return. Vancouver receives a former Stanley Cup winning goaltender in Niemi who can help mentor and backup Markstrom for the remainder of this season and next, allowing Demko to develop in the AHL. We lose Subban without ever really giving him a chance but get a similar defenseman with higher upside in Honka in return, who could potentially play alongside fellow countryman Juolevi in the near future. Vancouver solidifies its defense and goaltending for the next decade and can now focus on drafting, developing, or trading for offense. Juolevi - Honka (offensive pairing) Hutton - Gudbranson (shutdown pairing) Tryamkin - Stecher (two-way pairing)

Strombone
Honka is on the rise and will probably be worth what the Devils got for Adam Larsson, Taylor Hall; a top line forward. Top pairing defenseman for top line forward. We don't have an expandable top line forward that Dallas would be interested in.
wallstreetamigo
Honka isn't coming back this way for that package.

doodle sack
Looks good. For all those who say Honka is untouchable I beg to differ. He's barely played this season and the reason why he is in the lineup now was Jorki missing a team meeting an injures to their defense plus Hamuis does not play every game. I think this trade works well.
