nope

I would have thought there would be more elasticity in wood shafts allowing more

flex without breaking.....possibly too much so for larger stronger pros....for example: leaning into a slapper and not having enough resistance causing a potential fall or injury.

They need Biega to get games so they have the option to expose him in the expansion.

Sbisa will meet that limit - 7 more games to go.  Biega will obviously be exposed but once Sbisa gets those 7 games there's no real reason to play Biega as they only need 1D + 2Fs to meet those minimum game requirements.

Edlerr is out 4-6 week s though I'm sure Biega fan wait until after the Leafs game.

Why wouldn't you want Pedan's muscle for 3 games say its alook see then play Biega after or Larsen or whoever you want.

I thought Edler with Strecher was a good decision bringing the young man along, we'll see what happens as Biega can log some  expansion eligibilty credits as Edler heals.

BTW what is with the automatic scrolling on this site man, drives me nuts, anybody?

carbon fiber ,composite sticks have much more flex, almost like a bow  flex in comparison to wood , the old koho's for example were very stiff and did have a thicker shaft ,not trying to be funny but its true , but as for elders sticks they wouldn't be any different than any other players ,its in the mechanics of his follow thru. sticks dragging on the ice to hard and taking the flexibility of the shaft of the stick to far. his blade is hitting the ice to hard behind the puck before it even hits the puck .

Unless they plan on trading a protected dman like Edler or Tanev and protect Sbisa in their place.

Since when does Tryamkin know how to throw like Pedan?

He might  rag doll a guy like Chara but really he can't fight yet.

Gudbranson can square off with Martin for some fisticuffs, which Martin will stand a great chance of losing. Tryamkin levels Kadri, Matthews, Marner et al every chance he gets. As well as LaBate. More than enough muscle to go around.

Don't get me wrong, having Pedan would be nice, but he's still not defensively or positionally sound enough to get a call up.

Composite sticks come in different flex ratings , is it not simply a matter of getting a stiffer shaft ?

I have no idea what flex he uses now.

as far back as his stick is hitting the ice he'd probly break any stick ,but we won't be see that for a while. lol

Pedantic is sliding back down the plug hole with 100lbs of pine stuck in his ass.
