Sbisa will meet that limit - 7 more games to go.  Biega will obviously be exposed but once Sbisa gets those 7 games there's no real reason to play Biega as they only need 1D + 2Fs to meet those minimum game requirements.

I believe Pedan has not been playing well this season in Utica.

Maybe not getting the pick for this callup it could inspire him some? Lets hope!

I wasn't that high on Sbisa when we traded for him, but he's coming around. The Colodrado game he battled hard. The guys never gonna be Erik Karlsson Jr. but he's a warrior.

We need someone who can actually defend though. So Sbisa is ok, haha

I will agree with you on Sbisa. The Italian in him is coming through. He's no longer just a token Aquilini guy. He's the real deal.

Alex Edler and #1 D man being used in the same sentence just sounds so wrong on so many levels...  B)

Well he would make an amazing number 2. I see Tanev as a high end number 3. Juolevi looks like the guy but that's a few years away. So we will have to settle for special Ed.

I think that that road trip was his coming out party. Either that or Tryamkin made him look good. Pretty sure it's the former.

I hate to see the guy go down, but I do have to admit I'm a little excited to see how the guys perform without him in the lineup. I think more than anything I'm just ready for the change. Was in 2012.

Biggest downside for me is that I have to put my fantasy of him being traded on hold for 4-6 weeks. And yes, I know it wouldn't happen that soon anyway, but a guy can dream.

I've been thinking lately that if he got rid of those fat-pants, perhaps he wouldn't look so slow, clumsy and awkward. Wouldn't help the other things though...

i think its more to with his follow thru with the bottom edge of his stick contacting the ice longer than it should ,using the flex of the shaft to assist with the impact ,I've read somewhere that players do that more with composite sticks , having tried them myself there is way more flex in the shaft. personally i liked the more weightier wooden sticks with less flex.

I think he would have a heavier shot. I think the stick he's using is designed for somebody smaller than him. He needs a big boy stick.

I didn't see what happened to Edler. Was it a block shot with his hand? Underside of his glove?

Hand. Although you could barely tell initially. The guy is a warrior. I wonder though if that's the same hand where he had two fingers broken during the 2011 Finals.
