Cf-18 fighter crashes in Alberta near training facility ( pilot reported dead)

My best friend growing up is a cf18 fighter pilot and is routinely doing training in cold lake. Praying it's not him.

That's awful to hear.  I hope it's not your friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to the pilot's family and friends.

Wonder if it was one of the pilots that buzzed BMO field yesterday. It was incredible how they timed their flyover to coincide with the end of the anthem.

Timing is well practiced on bombing or strafing runs.  Flyovers for sporting events are a piece of pis$ no enemy interference.
