When Henrik reaches 1000pts, I'd like to know how many were either assisted for/from his brother?  Even us math-challenged will be able to calculate the precise % of their teaming up, whenever one of them is on the scoresheet. If you were a precise statistician, guess you'd also have to factor in the points(eliminate 30, or so?) that Henrik gained, when Danny was sidelined with injury(or vice versa).

I'll guess Danny figures in 720 times in Henrik's 1000 pts...

Bump my post from earlier 2day(lazy to type again).

Does anyone know the precise number of goals they've been in on?(eg: Of Hank's 992 pts, how many has Daniel factored in on?)

DAmn just the other day they listed the top assist to goal duo's in the league.  Daniel from henrik was 2 on the list, and then Henrik from Daniel was like fourth or fifth on the list.   If I had a screenie of that, that would answer the question lol.

With Henrik all but locked to get to 1000 in the next few games, we really need Daniel to turn on the scoring. 35 point in 43 games so he can hit 1000 as well, can he do it?

If you want Daniel to turn on the scoring, you also need henrik to turn it on too, they get points together most of the time. I really wish Henrik can have 4 points night against Arizona so he can get his 1000 points at home.

henrik will go down with a season ending injury against the yotes (courtesy of martin hanzal), daniel will get 31 pts over the remaining 43 games and both sedins will reach the 1000 point milestone on the same power play goal in the sixth game of the 2017-18 season.

What totally blows is that Henrik Sedin is going to hit 1000 points at the same time as Ovechkin does it, and almost the same time Crosby does it. This probably means Sedin will be overshadowed by them. But if you asked Henrik I bet he would love that. He has never liked the spotlight so this is probably meant to be.

Henrik currently has 996 points. Ovechkin has 994 points. Crosby has 980 points.

Henrik is likely to beat Crosby to 1000, but he might not beat Ovechkin to it. It's pretty cool that Henrik finds himself in such company again. He is already in their company as an Art Ross Trophy winner, and as a Captain of his team, but he joins them now at the 1000 point mark in 2017. Neat.

Looking ahead at the schedules, Ovechkin plays Tue/Thu/Sat this week. And Henrik plays Wed/Fri/Sat. I wonder if both Ovechkin and Henrik could hit 1000 points at the same time on Saturday?. If that happened Ovechkin would hit the milestone first because his game is earlier. Ovie would need 6 points in 3 games to do it.

I read an article this year by the Hockey News which debated which player was better.  They pointed out that H.Sedins PPG doesn't change much when Daniel isnt in the line up where as Daniels PPG goes down.  Henrik s Art Ross is a good example of this.   They have shown that they can adjust when the other is out of the line up.... Always wondered if a coach would have the balls to split them up for more balanced scoring...

With Bo and Baer stepping up their offence, maybe we are okay keeping the Twins together.  Although, defensively they do struggle, so that could be a reason to split.

That sounds like the kind of stupid article Hockey News would write. Which Sedin is better? What a joke.

Right now things seem to be working...I wonder about how Ericsson is used though.  On paper this team has the pieces for three very good to decent second lines...If Horvat continues his trajectory we might have our first line center..The Sedins going head to head against weaker opposition would do wonders for their longevity and for this team. Maybe Boesser will more then we could hope for and next year all of us can have a big collective sigh of relief watching the Twins play without such enormous responsibility.

I think the other teams' coaches will put their best defensive players against Bo pretty soon, if not now.  Then the Twins, by default, will become our second line, won't they?
