According to @Canucks on Twitter, Olli and Brock are proud to represent our team and their respective countries in the WJC.

for me, this will be one of first times I get to see Boeser play live on tv so it has me very excited to see him. Olli I've seen play very recently last Friday vs Owen Sound and he had an okay game though it was one of those nights where he didn't have anything going his way and it happens in any sport. Can't wait to see the pair hit the ice come Boxing Day. Make the Canucks fans proud!

I hate watching our prospects at these tournaments. It goes 1 of 2 ways.

1. OMG _______ didn't dominate the WJC. BUST!!! 1600 pages of cringe worthy posts to follow.

2. OMG _______ dominated the WJC. FUTURE CAPTAIN!!! 1600 pages of cringe worthy posts to follow.

I'll take door #2 for the win.

Brisebois has also been invited to the camp.

::D True, but for those of us who could ground our head in reality, it's gonna be extremely interesting to see how a guy like Brock compares to last year's tourney playing a stronger leadership role as a "vet". Of course one tourney alone won't tell how he's going to do in the NHL, but we don't get to see our new kids very often, so a little excitement is warranted

Looks like I'll be cheering for Finland, followed by USA. Go Canucks Go!

Also, I feel like if one of our late round picks leads all Dman in points in the tournament, maybe JB will be able to flip him for someone good... maybe there's a Clendening out there to be had?

You hate watching our prospects at the World Juniors because of what CDC will do? Wow.

Relax, have a couple of beer and enjoy watching them perform at this great tournament.
