Roberts
Remember the days when we filled other arenas like Arizona, Florida, etc.. heck we can't even fill our own arena anymore.. Remember when going to the games was exciting, loud, fun, victorious... I remember those days! Anyways hopefully in a few years things will start to get back on track.. HerrDrFunk
The next time we're firmly on the upswing and Rogers is full again, I'm so figuring out a way to smuggle in a "Where were you when we were ****?" sign.

hammertime
Remember when all the bandwagoners burnt down the city twice. Ya don't miss em. The real fans are still here.
J-23
I’m still a fan and so is everyone on these forums (i think), and I will be a fan of this team to the very end, whether we are the worst team in the league or the best. I will always be supporting the Canucks. Go Canucks Go!
Bob.Loblaw
That was only five years ago. The fans shouldn't disappear that quickly. True, the hardcore fanbase is clearly small (unlike Toronto or Montreal), but you also gotta consider how good they were then and how boring we are now. Back then the team was scoring like crazy, but not anymore.

LaBamba
But there is so much to do in Vancouver. Watch a mediocre hockey team or go hiking in the beautiful Vancouver wilderness at 7pm in the pouring rain. Watch a team lose? Or stare at the ocean in a raincoat in complete darkness. listen to CBC make fun of my team? Or eat raw fish while wearing skinny jeans? So much going on,

Lancaster
The Canucks didn't have more fans back then, they just had more bandwagoners.

oldnews
I remember - when the Pacific Coliseum actually "made some noise" without a fn prompt from a screen instructing them to. And you could buy tickets at Safeway for an hours or two wages. There weren't suits on cell phones anywhere to be seen - the place was full of everyday people. And you went home and saw the highlights on Sportspage with Don Taylor - no analytics geek or Province sh@tspinner was gonna ruin it for you. Gike Millis
Hey. Memba the 82 drive to the cup. Memba Bure agaisnt Calgary; memba it was in overtime . Member Bieksas goal agaisnt the Sharks. Easy to get caught up on the fact we don't have a cup. It's been fun ride, make that future win that much sweeter. Go outside. Enjoy the wet snow. This is Vancouver. Cheers, Canucks fan
