Perfect! Aside from his toughness he brings a lot to the table, if they can squeeze him in over Biega for a couple games he should be fun to watch.

I agree..but I have a feeling we wont see him..they will play Biega to get those 18 games he needs for the draft.

I am ok with this. Wouldn't mind seeing him get a few games.

Does anyone else kind of want to give a few looks to Subban though while we have the chance to see where he is at?

It sounds like Green is sitting him some nights for his lack of defensive play.... he's not exactly a kid anymore so that kind of worries me for his future with us anyway.

He gets scratched in Utica man, can you imagine how overwhelming defending would be here in the NHL for him?

I think they should try the little bugger at forward

i hope he gets a few games in and rises to the occasion,  and brings some physicality to the back end , hopefully he's paid attention to the lack of hitting that we've not been seeing ,and takes advantage ,but not holding out hope on either happening .

At this point, it would be better to see what we have in him at the NHL level, warts and all. Not calling him up and seeing what they have diminishes his value just as much if not more than him coming up and struggling a bit (even if the ultimate plan is to trade him). He needs a chance to show what he can - and can't - do.

Since it doesn't really matter if we lose this season and we are injury riddled right now, now is the right time to stop only taking the safe road and give our young players a real look.

I guess they needed some one to open and close the door on the bench OR Eriksson likes to sit on a warm bench, get it? Bench warmer.::D

In the effort to please the Sedins they will have to trade away youth and Pedan is well thought of in the league, a good prospect, so maybe it is a little show and shine then a deal for a high scoring AHL player that is a Medicine Hat alumni, a guy Willie coached against, someone else who deserves a shot because he paid his dues, someone else who deserves a third or fourth chance,......

Maybe seeing first hand how hard the NHL is might actually help wake him up about the adjustments he needs to make if he wants to play in the NHL.

My point was we really have nothing to lose.

YES, good news to hear.  Canucks need to get more intimidating.

Yep, and he didn't look out of place last year when he got called up.
