Dude, the Sedins and Loui are the absolute slowest line in the league!  Hansen is a perfect fit for the Sedins.  Loui is better suited with line mates who can push the pace/forecheck in the offensive zone.  I think Sutter/Loui can work, but they need more of a digger on LW.  Granlund doesn't win a ton of battles along the board.

They don't have to be fast to make an offensive zone start together.

Loui and Bo could work well together in that regard tho.

Don't want to live there, but it is on the bucket list to skate on the river there one winter.

Winter is cold, but it's better than the BUGS of summer!  They were smart, obviously, to let Ladd walk - they dodged a bullet for sure.

I skated on a backyard rink for one whole winter(grade 9)  about 40 miles south east of Winterpeg and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Please explain. He's only 5 years younger and already on the decline... dude's not even the kind of guy you build a team around.

He is still arguably a very good player.  He typically has slow starts with new teams often because he is such a quiet guy.  I would arguethe age of gap between Horvat/Stecher/Boeser/Demko/Jake/Baer/Juolevi etc and Eriksson is very similar too that of Hossa - Toews/Kane/Seabrook/Keith etc.

Hossa is a skill player.  Eriksson is a skill player.  I think if Eriksson can settle in he could be our bonafide scoring vet to supplement scoring. Hossa is a bit streaky just like Eriksson.  I think that was the intention at least.

Injuries are a reality to every team in the league, we can't excuse ourselves for experiencing them.

If anything, you proved that we have 0 quality depth, which is pretty true. I mean we got guys like Skille, Chaput, Megna, Dorsett (when healthy), Sbisa, etc. logging regular minutes. To top it off, our star UFA signing hasn't really been a star.

Tell me, if you take Perry, Lindholm and Vatanen from the Ducks will they be a good team?

Well they should after a decade of sucking. They should actually far further along than they are.

You're right but do you know why? They kept fighting off the rebuild. This post could be foreshadowing.

Sedin, Sedin, Sutter

Eriksson, Horvat, Hansen

Come on WD!

I use to work with a deeply, deeply religious intern  in Pennsylvania, who was intensely innocent. I would always mess with him by turning on the hardcore porn channel and saying "look man, god's on TV" while he was in deep excell spreadsheet concentration. He would look up and be truly terrified, shocked and disgusted with what he saw outside his warm inner sanctum.

This 100% reminds me of how some of you react when a negative article is posted

"Hmm, biggest busts of 2016 I wonder what is in here?" "OH DEAR GOD NOOOO!!!!"

I find it just as entertaining as torturing that religious kid.

Thanks for the laughs @Rocksterh8

Yeah Thanks, and thats exactly why I do it, I like to rattle their chains inside their little "Canucks" bubble on here. Good to see some others see the lighter side of it and can get some laughs off of them.

Peace bro :)

Hossa put up 100 points once - that was elite like numbers (and was close to PPG in a number of seasons).  Eriksson has been a consistantly decent two-way player but IMHO, at a tier below Hossa (in his prime Hossa that is...)

I can understand that Loui's production so far hasn't overwhelmed anyone but it's 30 games in on a new team.  It sure doesn't help that he's been on every line except right side D. This constant line juggling game-to-game and shift-to-shift is nuts. Like we never had pre-season to prepare or gel. I understand flexibility to adjust when a line is struggling or against certain opponents but this level of change is completely crazy. What's the point of putting Skille with Bo and then take him off after 2 games? He scored 3 goals in two games and that completely changes his projection from a journeyman to a sniper? How can anyone succeed with such unstable line-mates is beyond me.

Willie needs to go.

This is my first ever post on firing anyone from the team...be gentle.

Are you equating Corry Perry with Derek Dorsett?

Who are you comparing Perry to?

I'm guessing they're referring to Hansen. And I really don't think he's 'equating' them as players but as our teams best winger. Clearly ANA is a better team and Perry a better W.
