That is brutal. Why would they ditch McFarlane for this crap.

Mcfarlane didn't renew the license, so this other company came along and took it over.

Apparently

Or maybe used to become valuable

Whether the return is the return greater than 2.28% remains to be seen.

Is the storage space more valuable than the ROI?

You're good with maybe 8% over 25 years right?

If the figure didn't totally suck, I'd consider an investment... but maybe, that's what will make it extremely valuable... - Worst likeness ever achieved in action figures. It could be a "raspberry award" of sorts.

I just talked myself into two of em.

Yes. Only ones that are valuable are the super rare, hard ones to find. But the prices have even dipped even on those with McFarlane no longer making NHL figures and hobby in general dying with people losing interest.

Even bigger idiots if they take it out of the box, and they're older than 10.

Most of big kids (adults) do take them out of package.

You could certainly do so if you happen to own this bad boy. These are super hard to come by. Originally, costed $60 when they first came out, but go for much as $200 or so.

That's some horrible defensive play if the guy at the point is shooting the puck. :P

1 D in front of the net facing the other way.

Couple of guys behind the net for some reason.

Couple of guys against the boards for some reason.
