I said, Utica depth. And I mean it!

What makes you think they can get him through waivers without the Devils putting in a claim yet again, to get him back.

This kid, let's call him Bouch has some good skills and Devs dont have many young forward prospects who can score plus if you do some research they think he can be an NHL regular still.

So it's not like he is Frank Corrado here who has been pigeon holed as a career fringe NHL er already.

Guance should be in Utica putting up points instead of on the 4th line.

He doesn't have to pass through waivers so he is the perfect stash in the minors.

Let's see if he can get some chemistry going with Big Jake for next year potentially as the 4th line.

He's got more upside than a depth/injury fill in guy.

Exactly why he is perfect. He comes in, fills in for the guys who are injured, (most likely we'll consistently have someone out or a spot available) and he gets a chance to earn his spot. If he works hard, he can join the new core, if not, he's back to being a depth guy. It's a perfect situation. We need depth guys that can score and play in other roles but a 4th line grinder.

Speak as if your talking to a child????? you don't go to the bottom of the list just to the back of the bus?? hush that fuss!

PS I have never played any of the NHL video games. Except maybe NHL 94 on super Nintendo

That was my bad. My reply was from an article authored from Ryan Biech putting down Dave Tomlinson from not knowing better.

My apologies, I did not mean to offend you.

All good bud thanks for correcting me. I'm just a fan I don't claim to know all the intricacies. I had heard it said before last year I believe likely by a poster on cdc that you get cycled to the bottom of the list and took the info at face value without confirming its validity.

It seems to be a common opinion on CDC but just isn't part of the CBA. The waiver order is reset each day and your position could change based on winning/losing games.

Nieto would be Neeto. Contract limit be damned. We're shedding a bunch at the deadline and end of the season anyway.

You think JB is selling at the TDL?  Gaunce and Subban, maybe Cassels for picks/ prospects?

to be fair though, isn't "shredding contracts" at the TDL a suggestion of trading away guys?  I am curious who exactly JB would shred?  With our team's recent success, I doubt it's anyone from this roster, other than Gaunce.

Yes it is. I was just laughing because you have pretty much recommended trading every player on the Canucks roster and now you are setting your sights on the farm.

I doubt the recent success is going to influence what JB is going to do unless it goes on for an extended period of time. I really don't know who he will try to move but I would hope it is not our really young players unless he has seen strong indicators that they will not make it.
