Beary Sweet
What's up with Nieto.. This guy was bound to be a offensive spark plug. All of a sudden, he finds himself on waivers. If we want more forward depth, I wouldn't mind Benning putting in a claim. This could send Megna/Chaput down easily.

You do not lose your position no matter how many claims you make. The waiver claim order is reset every day though so you could move up or down because of that. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/en/v3/ext/CBA2012/NHL_NHLPA_2013_CBA.pdf
AV.
Still kinda doubtful that Nieto would fall to us.
HC20.0
Nieto? What caused him to be on the waiver wire? Kid had serious promise.
kloubek
Even if we wanted him (and he does seem like a worthwhile pickup) who are we going to demote? Boucher already takes Gaunce's place from what I can tell, and I don't think we'd want to replace Skille with the energy and reasonable production he provides. I suppose we could put Skille on the left wing where he's played before, then add Nieto for the RW. We'd have to demote one to the minors or re-waive once Hansen comes back, but that's not a serious problem imo. Ok, I'm game. Give him a shot. Patrick Kane
Nieto isn't bad tbh, I think he'd be a great 3rd/4th liner. Don't expect big numbers from him, but good speed, able to pay on the PK, reliable in his own end. Good for 15-25pts. I'd claim, since Burrows may be gone next season. Sedin Sedin Hansen Boucher Sutter Eriksson Bae Horvat Burr Nieto Granlund Rodin Chaput Post deadline Sedin Sedin Eriksson Granlund Sutter Boucher Bae Horvat Rodin Nieto Chaput Dorse/Skille Get what we can for Hansen and Burr. Re sign Burr in the off season to a one game contract so he can come out and do a retirement twirl on the ice at the ROG and have a proper standing ovation fair well.
