DownUndaCanuck
Nieto seemed good a year or two ago but he has 2 assists in 16 games on a loaded Sharks team.

As a veteran, you should know CDC likes new toys over existing ones.

Coconuts
Claim all the players! Nieto though eh? You've gotta thing someone will grab him. At the very least he's serviceable on a third or fourth line somewhere.

DollarAndADream
Nieto would be a decent pick up, if not just for Utica alone.
Bruce Boudreau
Nieto could become everything Etem was supposed to be. Speed merchant who can chip in some goals. Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Baertschi-Horvat-Boucher Eriksson-Sutter-Rodin Nieto-Granlund-Skille Chaput This would be the first time possibly in Canucks history that the Canucks would have 4 lines who can score especially when Hansen is back plenty of speed there too outside the first line. Makes too much sense that an organization like the Canucks would never do it make 2 good moves in a row nah...

Burrows is on pace to put up more points than he has in each of his last 4 seasons. I don't see him retiring just yet.
qwijibo
With injuries to Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Shaw, Byron and Desharnais, Montreal could probably use him. Doubt he makes it that far down the wire though

billabong
perhaps the canucks have changed their stance on waiver pick ups without hansen, dorsett and virtanen on the roster the canucks could use a RW right handed shot waiver pick up if such a player comes available...rattie comes to mind, but im sure they are waiting for a better player to become available. nieto is a left handed LW, but his speed is something the canucks needed desperately
