Beary Sweet
http://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/1203592-heading-to-hollywood-nhl-all-star-roster-projections The Score has Bo represent our hometown Canucks and shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone considering the Sedins' steady decline but still very effective on most nights while our defensive core, which is the youngest in the NHL, is still developing but if I had a choice, I would include Sbisa, Miller, Marky in the All Star roster as a honourable mention as well for a solid start to his rookie career thus far. The rest of the roster for both conferences are mainly no brainers like Pavelski, Tarasenko, Kane, Crosby, Laine, Ovi, etc. Hope that Bo gets his vote for the All Star game as he has deserved a spot and he has made the fans and the Canucks organization proud. Wish that he continues to make a name for himself in the NHL.
HerrDrFunk
I really can't imagine a reasonable scenario where anyone but Bo gets the nod.
JM_
I'm impressed that the Score could spell Horvat.
Coconuts
At this point I'd be more surprised if it wasn't Horvat
Cramarossa
If not Bo (who really shod be it, tbh) I'd say Miller or Marky just because they're the ones who have kept us in it most nights. Bo's our really star though.
Aircool
Had to give you a thumbs down OP. You clearly don't understand what an all-star is. Don't even talk about Stecher in such a way... It's because of people who think in dumb ways like this that sports voting has gone to crap. Mike Trout losing to Miguel Cabrera, because he was too young to win an MVP, LeBron James never wins the MVP, but we all know who the MVP is every year. Same thing happened to Jordan. All-stars are the players having the best season in the sport, which still gets screwed up by voters who would put Derek Jeter into the all-star game when he isn't even a Top-5 shortstop at that point in his career, just because it's Jeter. Now I have respect for the successful veterans in any sport, but we have enough problems with sports voting as it is, I hadn't even mentioned hall of fame voting yet... The last thing we need is people talking about consolation votes for rookies who don't suck, but aren't good. I know you weren't suggesting that he was all-star quality, but c'mon, wtf is going through your head?

My reaction may well be over the top, but it's far less over the top than it was stupid to suggest that Stecher should be in the all-star game. I've never heard something so filled with homerism, ignorance, and just general stupidity. Alex Burrows in the all-star game anyone? He'll be the heart and soul of his team... This year's John Scott. Anyone? Clearly he's an all-star. You should just make a John Scott award every year, where the best player on a guaranteed NHL contract in the AHL gets to play in the all-star game. It has been a long time since I have watched one, and by no means do I think stecher is a lock there due to the season he has had so far (which has been pretty impressive tbh) but I can't imagine there are a ton of rookie d who belong there ahead of him... I should go check on rookie d point totals so far this season (assuming there is still a all rookie team). May give me a better idea as to where the votes may go. The only requisites are that every team is represented. Past that, anything can happen.

Wow....your reading comprehension just kind of sucks, don't it? He didn't say Stetcher should be in the ASG. He said he's an honorable mention. kilgore
I hope to gawd they don't nominate the twins again. Or Miller. I can see the eastern and central based voters just doing that as a knee jerk because they never actually watch Canucks games. Those players need that break more than any other players to keep them fresh for the last half. I'd even rather have Bo stick around and rest up. I wish they'd nominate Eriksson. Someone that I don't have faith will play any better no matter how much rest.

He did say that Stecher should be an honorable mention, which implies he is of close enough quality to get in. It's shameful to even consider him. You are arguing a losing battle, you can't defend against the argument that Stecher isn't even half an all-star player. So just stop.

CanadianRugby
To the guy that asked. Stetcher is 7th in rookie defenseman scoring. I usually never ever agree with Aircool but he's right, Stetcher as an all star this year is one of the most stupid things I've seen on CDC and that's saying something.
