Another possibility I see is a Crawford return or maybe we even get Gallant? I'm going with the more obvious choice and saying Green will be behind our bench next year and he will bring a re-energized Virtanen with him. And he will do a hell of a lot better at actually matching lines in our favour during games than WD. I like WD as a development coach and would love him to swap with Green and go to Utica. But my God that guys would play Megna over McDavid if it was sudden death in game 7 of the finals. There needs to be a change. The fact he is such a bad coach and us being in a playoff picture should be enough to give us fans hope that this team is going in the right direction. I love our roster for the most part, I just hate the stupid coaching decisions I see in every single game I've watched this year. Maybe 3-4 years from now but torts style needs young energetic players that we simply didn't have. We played good that year until we got too tired to play after the break. He can tick all he wants in Utica lol. He cannot play situational hockey for the life of him. He was serious about just rolling 4 lines, that's all he does. We're in the Ozone and the 3rd line just came off its the 4th lines draw, screw putting the Sedins or Horvat's line out there. We will wait till we lose the draw and have the puck go the other way so the Sedins can take a defensive draw. Because after line 4 it's line 1s turn. I think the team likes him and they're still playing hard for him. That's a telling sign. Because we have a young team with a large learning curve, I like his demeanor. I only have one beef but not sure if it's Wiily's doing. I like Edler but he can't man the PP. Keep Baertschi on the left point. Then there's Boeser and possibly but highly doubt Juolevi coming in.. we won't be a contender next year but I think next year is the year we start seeing real progression with our rebuild.
