Green⌃Arrow
Stanley Cup or not, the Sedins are the most dynamic duo in the NHL. No one has chemistry like they do. I don't think anyone has noticed this, but Daniel Sedin is 33 points away from 1000 points. May the stars align!
logic
I think 16 22 and 33 should be the only # in the rafters for the canucks, no disrespect to Smyl or Naslund but I think ROH and a section of seating would be more appropriate for those guys. And by stars aligning, I mean Luongo is their old buddy and former Canucks captain himself so he should be considerate of the Sedins since they were integral in helping our team and Lu reach the Cup finals. Jk I wanna see Luongo at his best vs the Sedins at their best.

AlwaysACanuckFan
Thanks for sharing this, was a fascinating read. It's always nice to see Henrik having such an impact on players like Bo and the other younger players as well. It's just another fine example of what Henrik can do on and off the ice. In the near future we will see stories like this from younger players saying the same thing about Horvat, and how much of an impact Bo had on them. Saying that, he was a selfish player and not a 'Canuck for life' kinda guy. The guys who are uber talented and give everything are the numbers you retire. ROH for Bure for sure but not retired number.

Mattrek
The Sedins have been worth every damn penny that they've earned with us and now they're passing along their values to the next core. If anything they've been underpaid for what they've brought to this team and this community over the years.
-AJ-
Therein lies the value of the Sedins. I've heard so many people calling for them to be traded and I've persisted in their value, if not for offensive production on the ice, then leadership and mentorship. Look at teams like Edmonton. You can have all the star power you want, but without proper leadership and mentorship, you need a legend in the making like McDavid to turn the franchise around. Bo Horvat is the man and player he is largely because of the Sedins. Call for a tank all you want, but if we had traded the twins years ago like some wanted, we wouldn't have the same Bo Horvat we have today. They've created an incredible culture in Vancouver and it's one that I suspect will permeate the Canucks even for years after they retire. Their impact will certainly have long-lasting effects on the team and I'm sure Bo is not the only player who's been positively affected by them, he's just the one who gets the most attention. Just imagine if they had Laine or Draisatl playing with them in their line. This is a bad counter point. We came in 3rd worst in the league in 2015 - 2016. The Jets ended up with Laine because they jumped up in the draft lottery. We got pushed down two spots to 5th, even though we should have ended up with a top 3 pick. Us not having that player has more to do with bad luck in a lottery than it does the Canucks tanking or not tanking. Though we still got an Elite defensive prospect. We could tank, sure. But that still doesn't mean that you end up with the no 1 or no 2 pick.

Most of the Toronto fan boys around the country were not even alive when TO won last, there's no winning culture from that whatsoever. We've had several teams good enough to get it done.
