proposal anddiscussion expansion draft d and forwards

Recommended Posts

So this team has a decent emerging young core horvat, granlund, gaunce, tryamkin, stecher, hutton. Possibbly virtanen, boeser, demko, juolevi next yr.

Our d corp looks great minus injuries if im benning  tanev, hansen, edler, burrows, miller are deadline deals

So we dont lose younger players like granlund, baertchi, sbisa

edler   for barzal and 1st  isles get huge minute eating dman

tanev and burrows for juulsen, mccarron a 2nd  get two vets on great deals help on cup run we get  3 good pieces for future

hansen for a late 1st to caps or jackets

miller to dallas or ducks or blues  for a 2nd and 3rd  and one of their sieve backups as cap swap

benning then signs gudbranson, horvat, tryamkin, rodin to deals

Next yrs lineup

baertchi horvat boeser

rodin  sedin eriksson

sedin barzal sutter

granlund mccarron  virtanen

juolevi tryamkin

hutton gudbranson

sbisa stecher

juulsen

marky

demko

plus 3 firsts 4 seconds 2 thirds  that could be packaged  for 2 top 5 draft picks or benning could steal a ton of  gems with all these extra picks

we maybe lose biega or gaunce at expansion

next yrs lineup looks fresh and will be amazing in 2 yrs  splitting up sedins is key they are to predictable   at least it gives us some dif looks

I like your proposal Only correction is don't trade Tanev because he's a beast on our back-end. Plus juulsen and mccaron are crap

I do like the Edler trade but he won't get u barzel and a first. Perhaps just one of them

And I think Miller can squeeze us a first with the ways he's playing. I mean 6-0-2 with 968 sv% those are elite goalie stats on an average team.

Edler says no to Isles. So that won't happen. He'll probably only go to a contender.

Hansen deal is fine.

Tanev deal is quite weak. He could fetch more.

One big issue. You've now traded our top 2 D-man. Our D-core would consist of 2 rookies, 2 second year players and Sbisa, Hutton and Guddy.  Very little experience. In the future it may be good, but we'd suck for a couple seasons until that happens, and a losing team isn't great for developing young players.

Top end prospect plus mid-round pick.

OR

Role player plus top 15 first round pick

i disagree  contenders always overpay at trade deadline hes a premier shutdown top2 dman      have u seen what teams pay at deadline didnt vermette get a 1st and 2nd  on an expiring contract tanevs signed 3 more yrs  all prime yrs

hes worth a top ten pick and a grade a  prospect  and a roster player as most teams will need to shed some cap to grab him
