All-Time Records - Most Points with a Single Franchise

HKSR

Recommended Posts

After seeing Henrik hit 1000 last night, I was curious as to where he would be ranked amongst players that reached 1000+ points with a single franchise.  Couldn't find anything online, so I did some research and compiled this list.  Note that Sakic was based on the Quebec/Colorado franchise totals, and Modano was the Minnesota/Dallas franchise totals.

Enjoy.

For interests sake, I also compiled the list with the Original 6 teams removed.  Interesting how Toronto actually doesn't have anyone on the list.

I think your second list is off if you've "removed" the original 6 teams, yet the Bruins are still there?

I think he meant players who played under the original 6 system (more of a chance for them to stick with one team as opposed to today where a player is 5x more likely to be traded)...seems fair so that the figures are more consistent with modern game and not so skewed in favour of original 6 players (ie/ # of teams in league, dollars paid for modern day free agents etc).

In that context, there is no reason to remove Yzerman as he is a contemporary player not of the time when there were only 6 teams.

Also - Lidstrom. What a stud.

For sure. Ranks 6th with all 1564 games for the modern Red Wings

Not bad for a 3rd round draft pick (53rd overall).   Our "studs" picked ahead of him were Jason Herter (1 NHL game) and Rob Woodward (0 NHL games)
