Which would be a miracle. Then someone has to get moved edler-stetcher Tryamkin-tanev hutton-gudbranson corrado-biega trade sbisa and waive larsen. If we were the only team to do so we could have sent him directly to Utica. Once last season was over though, we lost that ability to claim him back and send him directly to Utica, so I doubt we see Benning put in a claim. But he was going to be on his way to Utica if the Laughs hadn't claimed him. He would fit in well here tbh. Then I hope he makes the most of the chance. It will suck if he goes unclaimed because it is just a giant reminder that he has been wasted the last two years by a team that didn't really want to play him but didn't want to risk losing him either. I wish him luck and hope someone picks him up. If we were going to be able to use him I would take a flier on him. But we really don't have the room and he doesn't need to sit in another press box. He was part of our system until he was stolen. He has some promise to become a bottom pairing d-man and he would be nice to have in utica to play with Subban and push for playoffs. Marchenko is more of the same of what the Canucks already have. The hope with Larsen was that he could be at least an effective PP specialist.
