Who wants to trade with Vancouver (Discussion)

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys and Gals

I thought instead of trying one of my incredible trades on you I would like to have you play a little game.

Here is the rules.

#1. You can not post a trade until you have posted what teams may be interested in my listed players........has to be multiple teams to start discussion

#2. You have to honor #1. before you are able to post a trade proposal.....

Players for trade:                         Possible Trading Partners

A). Miller......................................Dallas and LA

B). Tanev.....................................Toronto, Boston, Colorado

C). Burrows.................................Montreal and NY Rangers

What does your list look like?

Miller:       St Louis is terrible between the pipes, Dallas but we return the favor and trade with a different team last minute. Winnipeg they need a Goalie.

Tanev       Toronto they can't keep the puck out of the net. Colorado .... i want lang and they need a tanev

Burrows    Mtl depth for a playoff run,  Wash they need to push hard now.

Hansen     Pits depth, NYR Depth, Nash Depth and work ethic.

Our players aren't in demand, unless you are willing to have Horvat be traded.

So get used to disappointment.

Hi Ghost

I think both Miller and Tanev would be in demand any year they would be offed up......I will admit this years Entry draft does pose a particular difficulty, but Miller has kept us near the playoff threshold all season....I think that is known around the league. With an expiring contract, I see no difficulty with him being dealt.

Burrow, also has an expiring contract, and althought most teams and their fans hate him, they also respect his tenacity and his ability to play a team first kind of game.

Tanev, has a extremely good rep around the league, and "if" Benning gets a good offer, he will be gone, because of his NTC kicking in July 1st.....

I would not be shocked either way on any of these guys being moved.....not all 3, but possibly 1 or 2

Such negativity. Have you had your morning cup of joe yet? :P

No, it's being brewed, but at least I'm not thinking our players are in demand either. So I'm prepared for where ever the team is in the draft. And won't throw a tempter tantrum that nothing significant happens at the deadline. The real change will be expansion, and the offseason.

Hansen to Washington for their first, and a prospect.  Alf believes this will happen.

Miller:  doesn't react well to change, teams know this so no teams on Miller's list of 5 will be interested.

Tanev:  Leafs trade somebody younger than Tanev for Tanev?  Aha ha ha haah aha ha hahah a!

Burrows:  Montreal has the assets to go out and get somebody better than Burrows so they will.

Hansen:  teams won't offer what the Canucks rightfully want for him, so they will keep him.
