[Trade] Canucks trade Alex Burrows to Senators for Jonathan Dahlen

Recommended Posts

Malloy is on 1040 right now talking about Dahlen

- Saying hes a shooter more than a passer

- Should round up to 200lbs

- Shoots exceptionally well, finds open ice, opportunistic

- Canucks got very good value

- Someone at hockey prospect.com had him at 24th overall

- very good at getting into open areas

- knows scouts that are very high on him.

Relax? He doesn't need to play a single game. Burrows was not worth this much. He hasn't been good in the last 5 years.. This trade awful for Ottawa.

Hasn't been good? Have you not watched a game this year? He's playing one of his best hockey again this year, not going to lie kind of shocked me a bit to see he still has that much left in the tank, but your assessment is way off.

Wait does this also means Horvat is getting Burrow's A?

if not this year, next year for sure. Wouldn't be right to put C on him while the greatest Canuck of all time is still playing.  Bo is the future Captain if he progresses as expected.

Does this mean were going to get something ridiculous for Hansen?

Okay no. He is not playing anywhere near as good as he played in his prime. Not even close.
