darkpoet
Ottawa is only 2 points behind Montreal for 1st in the Atlantic, with 2 games in hand. (actually have played the least games in the division) It's conceivable that they could end up winning the division what with all the problems Montreal has had this year. Burr isn't gonna go in there and pop 20 goals between now and April but a guy like that can give your team a really big boost. Depending on what happens in the next couple days, and going into the playoffs, Burr could find himself in a better position than he maybe thought he would in Ottawa. Personally, I hope they go on a run with him. Nobody works harder and deserves it more. All the best Burr!

Montreal needs to make a significant move, imo.

Ya....it was all him huh.... I'm sorry I didn't realize you bought his jersey. Btw....you figure out who Kevin Woodley is yet?

Podz92
A little late to the party but man am I every happy with the return that Jim Benning got for Burrows. I was very high on Dahlen before the draft last year and was very impressed with his play at the WJC this year. Good job JB don't let up now you are very quickly building a fantastic group of prospects!! In case anyone missed it the Leafs Nation site is very happy they won't have to face Dahlen in a Senators jersey.

He takes most of the important draws against the other teams top cmen........seems like a pretty easy equation to put together.
SergioMomesso
I'm really pumped to watch Burr go on a playoff run with the Sens. And I've never been excited to watch other teams in the playoffs.

Toronto added Boyle, who has tremendous size, but is slow. And won;t be getting any faster at 32. I have always liked Montreal but it's been a gong show there the last while and Ottawa has just kind of flown under the radar and done their thing. Hoping maybe they make another move to address a need so I can cheer on Burr and get behind them as a team - since I'll have to wait till next year again for a Cup in Vancouver, lol

Great guy, I'll miss him, but good move for the future. I'm happy Burr did a move that works for himself and the team long term. Blue collar hockey player all the way. This could, very well, be the only deal made, regardless of what JB says. Zoiks, it's a TDL bubble market -- go all in! Edler for Drouin and a 2nd; Hansen for Sergachev and a 2nd, book it! Jimmy gon' get payed, y'all!
