Yeah, we have to wait until he's done for sure but I was just wondering if there's any whispering coming out of the Canucks of him maybe playing in the Utica playoffs etc.

I think it would help him tremendously for coming to camp next year......especially if he can get some playoff games with Utica! *fingers crossed* Edited March 26, 2018 by kirk mcleans baby

RetroCanuck
https://canucksarmy.com/2018/03/27/gaudette-dahlen-and-the-expansion-draft/ Interesting news coming from Ryan Biech that Dahlen will also need to be protected in this coming expansion draft due to being a 20 something player on loan. Therefore this pro year in Europe counts as an expansion pro year. Not terrible news as we have few players we will need/want to protect by 2020.
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Timrå down 1-0 after 2 periods. I’m not watching today but it seems like Karlskrona is really trying to keep the game “low event” and hope they can contain Timrå and eke out another win to take a 2-0 series lead. Dahlén with 4 SOG so far today. EDIT: game ends in a 1-0 loss. Dahlén had 5 SOG and played 20:51 TOI. I'm sure it will come up over and over again as we get closer to the expansion draft, but good to have the info now. Bo, Boeser, Gaudette, Dahlen, Jake, maybe Goldy, maybe a free agent or Leipsic. The rest on the current roster we could afford to lose by 2020, and not have to lose any picks to try to protect.

Guess it depends on how the next couple of drafts go and what our prospect cupboard looks like. If we are in a solid position, and if LE hasn't turned it around, then yes I would be ok to give up that pick.

Really depends on how the team is looking overall, but I would say if it meant protecting other young assets, I'd give up a pick that has about 30% chance of making it to the NHL in exchange for keeping other players that I know for sure, can. Can we make Seattle take him now?? Lol j/k of course. I guess it would depend on how deep the draft that year is and what kind of position draftwise we are in. If it's the 33rd overall then I might be less inclined than if it was a later 2nd pick....
