Yes the players taken before him are good BUT is BO HORVAT not GOOD too?  And YES this was a deep draft.

Looking at this list NOW, to me BO is making a serious debate on how high he actually would go if the draft was Today.

Do we possibly already have our #1 line Center & Captain all in one package???

It's still very early in these boys careers mind you & some have more upside than others & have some already reached their potential?

(I remember some arguing that we should've taken Domi & even Nichuskin over BO).

So for some FUN,

What would be your top 10 draft order Today?

Would U trade him straight across for any of the other players in that draft Today?

He's 7th in points among all players drafted in 2013. I'd say he's top 5 at least.

I actually would have a hard time trading him for any of the above. The total package he brings is special. (Size, durability, skill, speed, strength, professionalism, leadership, upside, longevity etc.)

He would go at #5, slightly beating out Monahan. The first 4 players would stay the same, but with Tampa taking Jones and Nashville taking Drouin.

I'd say he's behind Mackinnon, Barkov, Drouin(off potential alone), Jones, Monahan to an extent, as well as Ristolainen and on par with Wennberg. So between 6th-7th if we did a re-draft.

Pretty good calls. I have Bo at 5 or 6. He definitely moves up from #9.

Boeser of course moves up in the redraft, but Virtanen drops a long way down and I think Juolevi drops a few spots. So does McCann.

                   Monahan

                  Barkov

                 Jones

                 Ristolainen

                 Horvat

                 Drouin

                 Wennberg

                 Lindholm

                 Domi
