They were on track to beat the USA to the moon but Soviet politics slowed them down too much along with limited resources.  The rocket design that they were using was genius and ahead of its time.

Ya I know the Soviets were way ahead and JFK wanted to change that. Honestly it was another reason I didn't necessarily believe it.

At least you're questioning it.  Whether you believe it or not, you're thinking critically.  Good on you.

Well it's not like you see something like this every day broadcasting it, so yes I questioned it, but evidence and reports from police have convinced me enough that it is real and it's sickening.

This live crap has to go though imo on all social media, it's giving these scumbags way to much media coverage and it's to easy now, and it's influencing them to do these kinds of acts more. I remember the boy who was mentally disabled being beaten tied up, because people want attention and think it's fun, it's out of control and it's not getting any better. Back in the day these kinds of people would want media coverage, on the TV or the newspaper, now it's all online and they can get their coverage way easier, it needs to be put to an end to prevent these from happening more.

People would just post it on other parts of the internet then.  Just look at 2 or 3 years ago with the 4Chan killer.

Sick people will always find a way if that's what they choose to do.

The mountain of evidence that Sandy Hook was fake is out there if you'd care to look but thars beside the point.

His family??  Lol. Yeah, anyone who lost a family member would be interviewed l the next day on CNN, right?  Perfectly natural...

If your mom/dad/sister/brother was murdered would you be interested front of the cameras the next day?  I seriously doubt it.   But it's on TV so it must be true.

Lots of people do go on the news after a family member's death. Lots of people don't. Saying it didn't happen because the family chose to be interviewed is not exactly a smoking gun there, bud.

Not if it's not live they won't be able too.... Yes they will upload it or try and sadly that's the day of age we live in, but if stoping live on all social media cuts it down why wouldn't you want to? Just like drinking and driving, texting and driving... Why punish them at all then? They will find another way to do it, or maybe they won't and change their mind, could be the same for live if it's not available... I strongly believe it's a starting point to start with.

Kruschev was more interested in icbms. Lol.

No surprise there. Didn't he once say he would bury the U.S.

He was a smart man.  He knew that the best way to keep the US and its allies at bay was through fear of reprisal.  His son eventually became a US citizen in the 1990s.

I'm not talking about live broadcasts.  I'm talking about posting it in general after the fact.  They are just looking for attention.  The 4chan killer strangled his girlfriend, took pictures of her dead body, and posted them with a story about how it was difficult to actually make her die.

It wasn't live and it got more attention than this story has.

I still remember posting about it here on CDC shortly after it started.

Oh gotcha yeah in this day of age they will use Social Media and it's sad, but it's hard to stop unfortunately, and very hard to stop people from looking or watching, I'm guilty of it unfortunately, not that I want to see it happen or support them, but more in shock to see people will do these things.

Honestly didn't even know or heard of this 4chan killer before, let alone never ever heard of 4chan before in my life until now.

Human nature is human nature.  If someone wants attention, they'll get it.  In the pre-internet era, you had to kill a lot of people to get it.  With the internet, you just have to kill or hurt one person while making a show of it.

If not for the internet, this guy could have just gone around killing more people until he got the attention he was looking for.

That's what the DC sniper in 2002 did.

Yeah that's what I was trying to get at how much easier it is now then back in the day, you really had to do a lot to get coverage for it. And with all the fake stuff now a days on the internet you just never really know anymore, I'm just really against the live social media and wish it gets removed from all platforms.

Yes and no who knows if he didn't have live to get people's reactions on the go maybe he wouldn't continue, but with people commenting and reacting live, it's pushing him to continue as well.

Yeah that DC sniper one was crazy

You can't take away people's freedom because of the sickos in society.

Back in the day, he would have probably went on to kill more people to get the attention he's getting for just this one killing.

If he actually has killed a bunch of people as he has claimed before this one, then it will be because of live streaming that a serial killer will be put behind bars.

Well yes they can as mentioned before drinking and driving took that freedom away because it's taking lives, don't see a difference if live social media is causing the same problem..

I totally see your point and I do believe with you as well, for attention reasons but also depends on the person. This guy supposedly is saying how people have treated him his whole life is what's made him into this monster, and if he continues seeing people write live to him calling him a sicko, a waste of life, a nobody, that in my mind is going to tick him off even more to force him to continue killing because he feels no one respects him ever or fears him. Obviously a sick minded person, but I feel the comments also push him to continue more, but as mentioned it also depends on the person and what really gets to them.

Plus the other reason I'm against live, is under age kids and porn, especially snap chat since it supposedly deletes it after or something, but because it deletes it they feel they can get away with it and not be caught from parents or authority. But that's a story for another day lol.

To use your live video approach towards drinking and driving, you'd have to take away cars.  It would solve the DWI killing problem, but deny people use of vehicles.

Not judging, but I'm curious: why would you seek that video out?

Because I've only just heard off hand accounts of the video, and no mainstream media that I've seen adequately described the nature of the killing. It was never described as an execution style shooting. I wanted to see the evidence myself before commenting on an event if for no other reason than to be fully informed. We live in an era of misinformation from mainstream media, so people should whenever possible fact check and see the sources themselves.

For whoever is saying this is fake... get a life.
