One of the few Canadian stereotypes that I find often true. I'm a frequent user of "eh", though I must say I find it irritating when people poking fun at it don't know how to use it and tack it on to something that is already a question or just in any place where it doesn't work at all. For me, it's only used to turn statements into questions of confirmation from others.
