By sea and land
Earlier today Bob McKenzie was on 1040AM and commented on Dallas Stars #3 overall pick and how it 'could' be in play and that they're listening to offers or taking calls. McKenzie then said something to the effect that Dallas would want a top 9F OR top 4D for the pick but he (McKenzie) couldn't see many teams if any offering that to Dallas. Am I missing something here? I'm quite certain I heard the interview correctly and I'm shocked a team (especially a rebuilding team) wouldn't offer Dallas's asking price. Markus Granlund for #3 overall? I like Granlund a lot but surely a team would part with this type of player to land a top 5 pick, right? Yeah I know Canucks could use his 20+ goals and draft picks are far from a sure thing but if I heard that interview correctly, I'd be super shocked if several teams weren't offering the Stars something.
