bushdog
is it possible for a team to pay a player to drop a no-move or no-trade contract? seems to be the same as keeping some of a guy's salary if he's moved, but I've never heard of it happening. anyone know? You can pay a player more to not have a NTC/NMC in the first place, but once they have one you can't just pay them not to execute it if they want to. goalie13
It's an interesting idea, but would have to be negotiated into the CBA first. The current CBA runs to the end of the 2021-22 season.
