I am not sure putting it here or in Armchair GM would be most correct. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/assemble-the-knights/draft-simulator Would be interesting to see how people pick and the expert opinions. I picked my team based around max defencemen, with the aim of trading most of them to teams who will be short a top 4. Thereby picking up some better forwards and some high picks for the future. The tool kept failing but I figured it may have just been too much traffic. Will have to try it again. it is hard and really showed that they are going to have to pick unsigned RFAs or a few UFAs to keep things under the cap. DownUndaCanuck Posted June 7, 2017 Share Posted June 7, 2017 This team is going to be a playoff team right away. No elite forwards or defencemen but more depth than any team in the league. When you've got 2nd and 3rd liners playing on 1st and 4th lines, and 2nd pairing defencemen playing on 1st and 3rd pairings, you can really roll all 4 lines. I've got a feeling McPhee will try to make some trades to get some elite talent, and he'll be able to with the depth he'll acquire through the expansion draft.
