Losing Markstrom would handcuff us particularly if Demko isn't ready for a year or two. I like the idea though.
PunjabiCanucks
1st one doesn't happen. If we can get the 3OA while keeping the 5th, sure make the 2nd trade (Assuming we don't have someone specific we want at 5 that won't be available at 7). Assuming we get 3OA - select Heiskanen or Makar, Colorado most likely takes a D at 4, we select Vilardi at 5 (unless we want Glass over Vilardi)...... Nuxfanabroad
That Smith seems quite the orangutan..bit of a drama-queen, like Lehner.
Fanuck
Markstrom has little value to anyone but us unfortunately. We certainly aren't getting a top 10 pick for him even if we take a bad contract back.
elvis15
Heard recently they're back interested in keeping Smith again. Arizona doesn't do this.
qwijibo
Only on CDC would someone suggest that a 27 year old career backup with meh numbers is worth a 7th overall pick. Lol

Lol Not to mention a bona fide number one can be traded for a career back-up with below average stats.
Lonny_Bohonos_14
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Smith has some sort of NTC, and "wants to win". So 1: I doubt he waives for Vancouver. 2: that dump is not worth a top 10 pick. Maybe #38, at best.
