Adarsh Sant
So just an idea here. What if we exposed both Sedins? What are the chances Vegas takes them? They are 36 with a large cap hit. Plus one Sedin without the other is pretty useless, and they might retire after this coming season. If we do, we can protect: Horvat Baertschi Granlund Loui Guddy Edler Tanev Sbisa I mean if I was Vegas, I'd take Sutter over a Sedin. Younger and with a lower salary (although longer term). EDIT: I get why it seems disrespectful but it helps the team out a lot because we could protect 4D, and the chance Vegas takes them is extremely low. They would understand that in the big picture it helps the club, no?

-AJ-
Absolutely not. I can't fathom that sort of disrespect to such Canuck legends.

Cramarossa
Huge disrespect and as nice as the Sedins are I can't imagine they'd say yes.

Neither twin wants to leave Vancouver and even suggesting that they take the risk that they could be split up or have to leave is absurd. They want to stay in Vancouver and we should respect their wishes.

They've paid more than their dues to the club (and city) and will retire as HOF Canucks.

Tre Mac
I am of the mentality that the only thing the Canucks owe the Sedins is their salary. Yes they are great players, and even greater people but sports is a business and the good GM's of the sporting world know when to make the tough decisions. I know this board is going to go ape on me but as long as the Sedins are here the Canucks will be in non-playoff purgatory. I know this won't happen and I can understand why. I guess the Sedins are lucky I am not in charge........yet. Over under on minuses for this post is set at 3.
