[Discussion] Ask Sedins to waive NMC for Expansion Draft?

I am of the mentality that the only thing the Canucks owe the Sedins is their salary.  Yes they are great players, and even greater people but sports is a business and the good GM's of the sporting world know when to make the tough decisions.  I know this board is going to go ape on me but as long as the Sedins are here the Canucks will be in non-playoff purgatory.

I know this won't happen and I can understand why.  I guess the Sedins are lucky I am not in charge........yet.

Over under on minuses for this post is set at 3.5

The thing is this decision shouldn't be tough. Vegas has almost no reason to take a Sedin.

The deadline was Monday.

From the NHL press release:

Monday, June 12 - Deadline for Clubs to request that a Player "waive" his "No Move" clause for purposes of Expansion Draft (5 p.m. ET)

I suggested this very same thing in these forums a few months ago.

There isn't a snowballs chance in hell that Vegas would take on a 7million dollar contract for either one of these players.

Doubt Sutters contract would be picked up either.
