thejazz97
With Nashville not able to work out a deal with Vegas, it's safe to assume that they'll try to get some value for him. Perhaps we could send Sutter and a prospect their way for Jarnkrok?
Guest
YES PLEASE!!!! Jarnkrok would be great on our second line!

Why not try just getting Jarnkrok for a pick, and then leave Baer or Sutter exposed to Vegas? Vegas may not pick Sutter and we'd get to keep both. DoughtysCheck
Jarnkrok is like signed at 2 mil for the next 6 years? I could see someone like Tampa Bay or Chicago whose cap strapped try to get him for a cheap reliable player

Sedintwinpowersactivate
No Thanks to either! Let's stay the course unless they are willing to take Sutter or Ericksson (who I think will have a big bounce back year).

D-Money
Jarnkrok is a great complimentary player. But he's not the type of player to build a team around. He's absolutely NOT what we should be looking for (unless it's super-cheap, and only to later flip him for more). Use the pick, and try to find a building block. b3.
I still don't understand why Jarnkrok signed that contract.

Better passer than Sutter but he too doesn't really generate offence - it's Fiala that carried the line. A swap Sutter-Janrkrok could be interesting (lower cap hit and younger) but having both on the team is overkill.

Provost
Having another centre is always good. At that price, even as a 4th line centre who can take some defensive responsibilities from the top two guys is useful. Utility player kind of like a younger Hansen. hammertime
On the surface trading 33oa for Jarnkrok seems like a good deal. However with us drafting likely Vilardi/Glass I dont see the point. I also think there will be some very good talent left at 33 (Brannstrom, Hague, Yammamoto, PO Joseph, Jokiharju, Lind etc.) there will be steals of the draft to be had at 33. CRAZY_4_NAZZY
No to Neal, but yeah I'd take a flyer on Jarnkrok if he was for cheap. Depends who we expose though in consequence too
