Would still be a huge upgrade over the trash they currently use on the 3rd pairing.  They played a defenseman who can't play defense during the SCF final.  Having an NHLer instead of a massive liability in Weber would have made a huge difference.

I still can't believe they re-signed that useless pylon.  Any sane GM would be desperate for an upgrade.

tell us how you really feel haha......

Weber actually played well as he was used as a #6 dman he only struggles when he's used above that. He is a solid #6/7 guy who struggles in a top 4 role. And he is much better defensively than you give him credit (meaning average-below averge) for and he is certainly not trash...

Weber is good when he plays 3 minutes a night.

Played fine for Nashville 10 minutes a night even during the playoffs with a banged up roster.

Clearly you didn't watch the finals. His ice time looks inflated because of huge leads for either team. When the game was on the line or close weber had next to no ice time.

Omg you mean in close games they relied on their top 4? Revolutionary... As I said he's a fine #6 guy, at what point did I say he's a rock to lean on. I'll wait.

getting 3 minutes of icetime by the 3rd period is not a #6 guy.
