I notice that Petey is wearing an "A" tonight. Indicates to me that he may be coming up soon when more veterans leave.

WHO Will replace Beagle and Edler this Year? Might be OEL and EP?

My guess is that our three alternates would be Myers, Sutter, and Miller, but maybe EP gets it instead of Miller. There's also a chance that OEL gets it, yes.

I would love to see an A on EPs chest, I guess they wont Strap Sutter of his A so the last one should be at the blue-line then... Myers or OEL? OEL undeniably is captain-material, hes been the C for the Coyotes for years and also been wearing the C for the Swedish national team

Name a defensive forward who doesn't get hurt a lot.  Part of the job.

Ryan O'Reilly. That took 12 seconds. I am sure I can find a lot more. Not that I care much.

Sutter doesn't deserve an A on this team. Give it to a player that contributes more to overall wins.

Very big difference between a top line player who is also a stud defensively and a pure checker.  We definitely don't have enough information to decide who wears a letter regardless.  Put it to a player vote and move on.

Glass comparison:  Schieffle and Linden

Vilardi Comparison:  Getzlaf and Tavares

Petterson, you're going to be at minimum a 4 year project and you're going to be weighed against them for the next 2 decades.

Good luck, welcome to Vancouver

Man, that post you're referring to hasn't aged well at all.

What the &^@# happened to Glass and Vilardi?

To be fair, Vilardi is trending upwards and will likely have a breakout season this year.

That's true and he'll be a good player in the league, I guess. But Pettersson, in my books is a tier above Vilardi, and is already outproducing him as it stands today.

Vilardi has 30 points in 64 games played, which is pretty good production in limited playing time so far.

Petey has 153 points in 165 games played.

And they're both 22 years old, no?

I take Elias every single time, and without a doubt, I think it can be argued that he goes top three in a redraft of his year.
